About Us

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

Chaplaincy is a three-fold ministry: Presence, Compassion and Silence.

By definition a chaplain is simply a “minister in the workplace.” Chaplaincy is a bridge ministry: a bridge between the sacred community and the secular community. The primary purpose of a chaplain is secular in nature followed by strong spiritual overtones. Thus, a chaplain provides both the emotional and spiritual care a person needs when impacted by crisis. Chaplaincy operates at the cutting edge where ministry and social structures intersect.
